Introduction

The worldwide St. Vincent de Paul Society ( SVdP ) is dedicated to serving the needs of the poor.  The St. James Conference is specifically dedicated to serving all people who need help and live within St. James Parish. The conference is made up entirely of volunteers from St. James and other parishes. The boundaries of the parish are -   north of Bell Road to the Maricopa County line and West of Interstate 17 to 51st Avenue .

The people of St. James are extremely generous. Through that generosity, we are able to provide help to about 600 families per year within the St. James Parish boundries, with more than 1100 service calls. We average about   30 - 50 calls per week, with an increasing volume.

The summary statistics for 2007 are available. Click here to review those statistics. Your generosity has made this possible.

Your SVdP efforts are ongoing as those in need can be helped but their number cannot be eliminated. "The poor you will always have with you..." Matt 26:11 Check here for a report on those latest efforts.
