Duties
- Attend bi-monthly evening parish conference meetings. These are held at 7:00 PM on two Mondays during each month.
- Attend or host District Four Council meetings.
- Take basic Ozanam school training classes provided by the Phoenix SVdP Administration
- Participate in Conference Services
- Make home visits, referrals and food deliveries
- Maintenance of Food Pantry
- Purchase of perishable food items
- Pickup of Monthly Food allotment from SVdP Warehouse
- Be willing to serve as a conference administrative officer
- Assist with November Annual Food Drive .
- Assist with Spring Non-Food Drive .
- Assist with placement of monthly SVdP Collection envelopes on chairs before masses on the the fourth Sunday of each month.

- Who We Are:
- Parishioners (Men and Women) who work in Teams of Two
- Who We Serve:
- Needy Families of all faiths within our parish boundaries
- What We Do (one or more of the followng ):
- Make home visits to needy families who call for assistance
- Shop for perishable foods to get the best price
- Stock the pantry at the church
- Pickup food allotments at downtown warehouse
- Pack food boxes for the people that we serve
- Participate in the food drive
We realize that not all volunteers can do all of the above. Don't let that stop you from volunteering. If you can help, please let us know.

- Deliveries are currently scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and either Friday or Saturday
- Volunteers choose days that they are free to work and deliver at a time that fits their schedule
- When We Meet:
Twice Monthly on Mondays at 7:00 PM for approximately one and a quarter hours
Events
- Collection of food items.
- Usually done during November and prior to Thanksgiving.
- Distribution of Thanksgiving Food Baskets
- Tuesday of Thanksgiving Week
- Vouchers for school children just prior to going back to school
- A Christmas program for a sponsor to share food and gifts
- Distribution of Christmas Food Baskets
- During the Christmas Week
- Collection of paper goods and toilet articles
- Usually done near the end of Lent
